A friend of mine has a 99 L with modified stock exhaust. He had a buddy mandrel bend the pipes, then he replaced the muffler with two resonators. He added a little something else just to barely quiet it down a hair. It sounded a little deeper than my stock and a little louder. When he revved, it was a beast though. It sounded very comparable to my friends Corsa on his 02 C5. With this mod and a cold air he ran a 13.4. I saw it for myself so he wasnt lying. What do you guys think about this set up? Any negative aspects to this? Opinions/suggestions are appreciated, for i am seriously considering getting the same thing done.
