Anyone ever modify the power window controls on the driver door ?? I would like to place the same control for the driver window - with the auto full down capability, on the other three window controls for the driver. Just love that Spring Air and feel a little lazy to hold the dang button down .... Just a thought !

 

Just my two cents: If you're handy with a wire stripper and a home-made diagram, it's a fairly simple job with a relay. As for what size, i'm not sure, but all you need is to tap into the wiring for that switch, run your dedicated power to the relay, and that should about do it. Very simple version, of course. If anyone would care to elaborate, please do! Lets help this guy out!!

I think it's actually a physical characteristic of the switch itself. It actualy "clicks".

 

Good point FamilyRide, it does. It could be a switch with a built in relay. It may be as simple as getting another switch from Ford...

There is an article for the OTPDM (one touch power down module) over on http://www.mustangworld.com in the How-To section I believe.. haven't checked recently but it was there. Should be the same for the Expys.

 

my moms honda has 1 touch up and down for all four windows and paid half as much as I did for my X, WTF is wrong with Ford, wake up dummies!!!!
