Extend range of remote?
Extend range of remote?
Is there a simple way to extend the range of the keyless remote?
I have a 2000 EB and can only operate my keyless from about 50-75' away, even with a brand new battery. My father in law has a 2002 SCrew and it works 2 to 3 times the range. Is there that much difference in models/years? Or can I rearange an antenna somewhere?
Thanks for any help

point the remote at your chin and see what kind of range you get, you will be surprised, I install remotes for Circuit City and have seen this work for better range 9 times out of 10. I don't know how this helps, but it does help.
Thanks, actually after I posted I tried a few things to see approx. what kind of range I had.
Walking toward the front of the X, holding the remote upright, lock side facing the truck gave the best range, about 25-30 paces.
So not bad, but father-in-law can sill unlock his from inside the house, about 2-3 times the distance.
