Question Just put in a Glasspack

Hi, I just had a 10 inch Glasspack put in, leaving it with stock pipes. I've heard a lot of people talk about losing backpressure when they mess with their exhaust and lose high or low end torque. My question is, Is that really an issue? On the way home it felt like it might not be as quick as it was but of of course I was paying close attention to it trying to find out if it was slower so it might still be how it always was. Also if I do lose backpressure will that affect my gas milege.

I can tell yo ufrom expirience that I had glasspacks and did lose low end torque. I didn't lose any gas mileage (that I noticed) nor did I gain any. All that happend for me was better sound. NO other gains. I recently changed to a DI/DO Xlerator and gained back P and my gas mileage actually went up 1.5MPG. Lost some of the sound I liked but what can you do. Seems like it is one or the other.
