Question Which Y-Pipe

I own a 2001 SC 2WD 4.6 Lariat. I am ordering a Magnaflow muffler, Magnaflow Y pipe, and Magnaflow stainless steel tips. Just need to know if I am ordering the right sizes for the inlets and outlets:

Muffler is 6x11 Oval 3" SISO model 14579.
Y pipe is the 3" Dual IN 3" Single OUT. model 10798
Tips are 3" inlet 4" outlets. Slash cut model 35107 12"

Plan to use stock stainless steel tailpipe with mandrel bends.

Am I on the right track???

This is similar to what I am looking at. How did you choose which muffler you wanted? I have heard the model for trucks/suv is more restrictive than the other models?????? I think this exhaust mod and the superchip seem to be the best bang for the buck.
I have an 02 version of what you have.

Cool

I used the Husker Exhaust site. Huskers sells Magnaflow and Borla exhaust ( cat back systems, exhaust parts, accessories) online for some pretty competitive prices. I just want to be dead certain I order the right parts the first time. I hate the return procedures of most places. The Husker URL is http://www.exhaustproslinc.com/.

Since I first posted, I have come to realize that my stock exhaust pipe although stainless steel is not 3" in diameter but 2.25" measured at the tailpipe. That means I have to change all the inlet measurements that were 3" to 2.25. I'm not sure at all about the Y-Pipe from the cats to the muffler. I was hoping someone who knows the exhaust of an SC 2001 would help out.

I really want 3" SS mandrel exhaust piping like that in the complete Magnaflow Cat Back system for $400+. Thought I could get same quality and performance by just buying the Magnaflow muffler, Y-pipe, and tip separately for around $200+. The SS tailpipe for my SC would run another $60 from Husker, so I would still only spend a little under $300 instead of $400+. That would be great but not worth it if I bought the wrong sizes of the different parts from the Husker online store and had to go through the return parts process.
