Has anyone tried running true duals on the crew with an x muffler or x pipe and kicked the tail pipes out at 45 degree angles.

 

I have true duals and a Magnaflow DI/DO muffler. The muffler itself X's and you can see right through it. Not too loud, not too quiet. I have an ext. cab. and the pipes exit the back. Since they exit the back, they are not really noticable with the windows up and stereo going, unless you step on it. Good luck.

 

Approx. what was the cost of the install? I have a guy in WV who will do it for about $325 + tax. Was the power gain noticeable? I am running the 5.4 with a K&N and the WMS velocity tube.
