Thumbs down

I purchased two bug guards, one for my f-150 and one for a friends chevy p/u. There was an oversize handling charge for both. Charge for the chevy was $5.00 and for the f-150 was $10.00. I can't understand why there would be a price difference for both. I guess summit knows FORDS are superior so they have to charge this way!!

I ordered a Borla cat-back system from them about 1 year ago. The shipping was free and I had it in a couple of days.

No complaints here.

"One thing I don't like is their new policy to absolutely refuse to send a call back sticker for UPS to pick up a return. You have to go and hunt down a UPS delivery point to make a return."

Call UPS at 1-800-742-5877 and they will ask for the weight and dimentions of your package; the ship to address; and allow you to pay for the charges with a credit card over the phone or pay the driver when he makes the pick up. They will then pick up the package at your door the next day and it is much cheaper then going to a MBE or other middle-man company.

2fords-
I'll probably be ordering some fans from them on Friday. A discount would be great. BTW, Is the free shipping a special or is it all the time? I didn't see any reference to it on the web page.

Thanks!

I've used Summit for years and have been very pleased with their service. I bought an 'on sale' creeper set from them a while back, and it turned out to be a POS. Other than that, I've had no problems with them.

Thanks anyway! Appreciate the offer. The free shipping is still a great deal.

Purchased my Stull upper and lower grille from them last week. Very pleased with the person on the phone since he had to look up the number for the lower insert and found it right away. I ordered on Fri and Tues the Fedex truck was in my driveway!! There is free shipping but there is a handling charge . I know my upper/lower grille had a 7.95 handling fee from what I remember. This could be cheper than the shipping charge in many cases.

My brother has ordered many spped parts from them and never had a problem even on a manifold return one time. I would buy from them again.
