Have an "H" pipe, should I convert to "X"?

See my sig below. Should I pay to have the "H" turned into an "X"? Would there be any difference, as I have nothing to compare it to? I bought it with 42k on it and had the pipes done right away, so I'm not sure of any mileage or performance gains, although it sounds nice.

i doubt you would gain much by switching from an H to an X pipe. if i were you, id use that money towards some other mods. by the way, what diameter piping did you use?

I agree. X-pipes are damn expensive for what you get. Spend it on other mods.

Both will balance the system. An X won't yield noticeable performance on that application over an H. Neither will do much good if they're mounted on the passenger's side (as most are). To be effective, they need to have equal length pipes in front of them and be placed rearward in the proper location, which is achieved by seeing where a spray paint line will begin to burn off.

Thanks for saving me $$$

Thanks for the input. The pipes and packs are aluminized 2.25 inch all the way through.

Good recommendation...I'll add the additional info to my sig
