Thumbs up i modified my gibson supertruck...results

hey guys,

alright, i had a standard gibson supertruck but decided it was too loud in the cab for me. well, instead of having it exit out the side like a normal supertruck mine now has duals out the back. it looks really really sharp. i still have to buy some nice tips. right now i just have two raw pips coming out the back. it made it soo much quieter in the cab. it really did the trick for me. the cool thing is, the outside noise actually sounds quite a bit deeper and tougher. i am really happy with it. it cost me $135 dollars. but it was excellent craftsmanship and the result is definitly worth it. well, just wanted to tell you guys about my new mod/alteration. what do you guys think?

Yeh I can see that. I'm sure that will probably help your low end torque also, although I dont feel I lost much if any with my ST. The ST muffler is just a hollow canister and would make a good cat back system no matter what type of out you have.

Me personally I don't think the resonance in the cab is bad at all, strap on a Flowmaster 2 chamber if you want to hear annoying noise. I like the sound from the ST, an old muscle car big block sound just not thru the seat of the pants.

Cool Gibson Exhaust

I too have the Gibson super truck exhaust and am very happy with the performance. Did exiting the exhaust out the rear actually help low end torque? i love the way people look when i get on the gas, truly one of the best mods I have done.

Tip Recommendation

Check out Borla's tips, IMO they are the best looking on the market and are made from t304 stainless steel. Expect to pay around $35 a piece.
I thought about replacing my Gibson tips with Borlas Square slash cuts.

You going to update your sig to say " Gibson Super Long Truck"
