I've decided to get a little radical and buy some Borla 9" turn down tips. I know, it's a little different, but how do you guy's think turn down exhaust tips out the back of an 01' F-150 would look? I'm gonna do it, but just give me some opinions? Good? bad? Whatever. Let's hear it. Sorry but no pics.:o

 

honestly. i think it would look stupid. im sorry. but thats just my opinion.

 

Seen it, looks stupid. Their turned down for a reason...to be used as turn-downs under the truck...not out the rear. You must waste more money on tips and mufflers. LOL!!! It's all personal prefrence...who cares what anyone else thinks, feels, or says...they don't make your payments. Just figure out what you like the most, do it, and call it a day. Sure, I've changed my system about 6 times on my 2001 alone, but only to get the loudest possible, with the most power gains. (...or least loss.)

Yeah, now that I think about it, it does kinda look stupid. I've never seen any on a truck with duals before. I just was wondering what it would look like. Had my mind set on doing it, but I'd rather go with my other choice- Meg's 5" ovals. Now that's cool. To me anyways.

 

if youre gonna do turn-downs, definitely gotta ide them. coming out the back will look very "not good". just my opinion, good luck!
