Flowmaster vs. Flo-Pro??
To add to the many exhaust questions here is mine for all of those so inclined to read....I have a 99' F-150 4.2 V6. A guy at the local muffler place says that he has an exhaust brand called "Flo-Pro" which he claims to sound better than the Flowmasters on a V6. For about $250 installed. I had never heard of Flo-Pro, and I tend to stick with the brands I have heard of. Have any of you heard of or have Flo-Pro and what are your thoughts versus a Flowmaster on a V6 Application..
Thanks

I had a set on my old 5.0 GT. I've since sold it, so don't know the long term effects. They did have the standard "Limited Life Time Warranty" tied to them. I used them to replace a set of Dynomax "Drag Masters" because the outlet pipe welds broke on them (the Dynomax).
Sounded good on the ol' 5.0. Don't know what they would do on a V6.
Oh yeah... The same muffler shop also sold Flowmasters. He just said he liked the sound of the Flo-Pros better. I had to agree.
Just my opinion however......

redman_a12,
I have a SI/DO Flo-Pro on my 97 150 4.6 V8. It sounds really good and the price was good. Have had it on for over 2 years and I love the sound at idle and WOT. The drone isn't bad either.
The local muffler shop said that it sounds a little better than the FlowMaster and was a little cheaper in price. He had a cut away of one and it was built pretty solid. I say go for it!

I never heard of Flo-Pro before...found this link to their web

I am just curious, what did the muffler guy quote you for a similar install with a Flowmaster?
