Question Flowmaster Delta 50 or SUV 50

Hey Guys,

Wanted to know your opinions on the Flowmaster 50. Should I get the DeltaFlow or the SUV. I have a 2002 F-250 with the 5.4V8, and I wan some more sound than stock but I don't want alot of drone which I think I might get with the Flowmaster 40.

I want the idle to sound good and also when I get on it, but I don't want it to be too loud, like I if I drove up the street at 3am it would wake everyone up.

Don't want my truck to sound like a Honda or a Suped up car.

Would like to swap out the muffler and keep the stock 3"pipe SI/SO.

Thanks,

I would go with the 50 series Delta Flow. I have the SUV series in mine along with FM Y-Pipe, and it gets really annoying sometimes. Especially in stop-and-go traffic when the muffler gets hot, it really drones in the cab.

I am actually switching to a 50 series DF later this month, with a 3" tailpipe instead of duals out the side. I am hoping to get rid of my exhaust rattle on the driver's side tailpipe and the annoying drone all at once.

Neither. I feared the 40 series until the first time I heard it on my SCrew
