Installed Gibson Super Truck Exhaust
I installed the Gibson Super Truck exhaust on Saturday and am extremly pleased with it. Install took about 30mins. It is much louder than the Gibson 3" I had before. The chrome dual tips that exit in front of the wheel look GREAT! All I can say is it was worth the money spent. To describe the tone, its like a 2 chamber Flowmaster but with much more growl. I also installed a Airaid FIPK that seemed to make the exhaust slightly louder. I do notice a diffrence at take off, even pushing bigger tires.
Was able to get pics of the exhaust. You can see it in my gallery.

I have a Supercrew that would like a new exhaust system; here are some question that I have before buying:
1. Where did you get your Super Truck Exhaust and how much did it cost?
2. Is there any low-end torque reduction since the installation?
3. Is the noice obnoxious in the cab?
4. Are you concerned with fumes in the cab?
5. Will the fumes discolor your wheels?
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I purchased the exhaust at 4Wheel Parts. The cost was $300.
I noticed a improvment in low end torque, since this exhaust makes most of its power in the lower rpm range. I don't really pay to much attention to the exhaust since I can her the tires as well, but it does have a drone but not too bad. I have been rolling around with the pass window down and have yet to smell the exhaust in the cab. It is kind of loud when you take off but when it shifts to OD then its not too loud. If you would like a exhaust that is more for towing and has no drone then check out the Gibson 3" exhaust. I had this exhaust before and this produced the most power with out the noise. It still gives you a growl but not in the cab. The cost for that exhaust was $169.00 and I bought it at the same place. That exhaust exits behind the rear wheel and has a 3.5in chrome tip, looks great too. I guess about the exhaust blowing on the rear wheel, I have talked to numerous people that have this exhaust and have spoken to one guy that had the polished 4x4 wheels and he said he noticed no turn in color in the rim. But when it comes to exhaust for trucks, my money will be with Gibson. Great product.

I've had the SuperTruck in my Supercrew for six months, and no discoloration or carbon build up on the rear tire at all. The noise isn't overpowering in the cab, as long as I have my radio on. My parents don't like riding around in it, but I didn't get it for them... darn old fogies! I love it. It sounds like a real V8 now. By the way, at the same time I replaced it, I replaced the Y pipe too, basically everything from the cats back. Now I have a true 2.5"-3" system all the way back, instead of 1" at the y-pipe. I too noticed a large gain in the low end. I can take off from the line with the Mustang GT's and the other sports cars with no problem. I have the K&N FIPK too.
