Gibson SuperTruck

I looking to put a SuperTruck on my v6 /reg cab/ auto/3:55 gears truck. I got a couple of questions for those that have this exhaust.

1.) Low end performance....any changes with this exhaust?

2.)with the exhaust exiting in front of the back tire, did anyone notice any discloration of their back rim?

3.)Overall satisfaction....was it worth it?

Thanks

I have it on my truck..I love it. ...I haven't noticed any power loss, I do have a 4.6 though.....There's no discoloring of the wheel either. I've had it on for about 15,000 miles now. I have to reccomend it....I really like mine.

I called gibson and they said that the swept side will produce more power while the super truck sounds louder and looks better. That said...I think I'm gonna go with the swept side.

Thumbs up

I am happy with mine, no discoloration on the 589's, great sound and no loss of power. Since I am not towing I am not concerned with the power and torque the SS will add compared to the Super Truck specs.

when i was buying my exhaust i couldn't find anyone with the super truck on their v-6. so i figured i would just buy it because i have just totally loved it since i saw it. and i totally love it. it is the baddest sounding v-6 i have ever heard. sounds like a v-8 at idle and it has a very deep low tone. deffinately picked up some power. i have no regrets at all.

I love mine. I still tow with my SuperTruck, and I have had no problems.

Thumbs up Supertruck

I 've had my supertruck on now for about 3 months . I love the sound of it . Not overly loud but a nice deep rumble cruising down the highway. I tow a camper with my truck and I don't feel that extra rumble is offensive at all. I had put a sweptside on my truck right after I first bought it but the sweptside was 2 quite for my taste.
