Air Raid Throttle Body Spacer
I just put on an Poweraid throttle body spacer and am hearing a whistling noise when I "get up on it". Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal, and is there any way to make it go away other than remove the spacer?
I like the added performance, but cannot decide if I want to live with it or not.
Thanks in advance for the help.........JB

Do some searches on TB spacers. I don't think anyone has posted anything poistive about them; well except the one that was able to return his for a 100% refund even after installing.
Most people have them as paper wieghts now. The 4.2 supposedly does get some performance gains. One guy that races, a lot, found he lost performance with one installed.
Oh, the main point was, yes, the whistle is normal. On many of the posts you'll see it refered to as a $100 whistle etc.
Sorry to be the barer of bad news.
Oh by the way, did you realize you posted this in the Aftermarket Exhaust forum?

I sent mine back for a full product refund, even after a couple of months of trying to find an increase in performance. The short of it is this: There was absolutely NO PERFORMANCE INCREASE!!! Biggest waste of my time, and a total mistake to buy. That whistle was VERY darn annoying! I thought I would get used to it, but no way!
So, if any of you reading this are tempted to get one, take my simple advice: DON'T!!!
