Exclamation gibson

ok....It's deciding time. I'm either getting the Gibson Swept Side or the Gibson Super Truck. Does any one know of any differences between these 2 cat backs. I know the super truck is louder but I need to know if there is any differences in performance...MPG/HP/Torque. Any help is appreciated.

Called Gibson and the guy told me if I want better performance from teh exhaust, then go with the single pipe swept side.....so I ordered it.

Cool Cut us SOME slack...

C'mon. I know when you're looking for scoop you want an answer quick, but that was only on the board a little over 12 hours......

Glad they cleared up the question for you. I have a stainless side swept on my '95 and have been happy with it. There may be systems with more flow at high revs, but I think Gibson's approach of putting the power in a more often used part of the curve has a great deal of logic to it.

Let us know what you think of your results....

I know....I was a little impatient. I have to admit, I've gotten better advice for my truck from the guys on this site than anywhere else. I respect and appreciate everyone's opinions and advice.

Wink

Only reason I didn't comment was because I don't have the V6. So couldn't give you the answer you were looking for. I have the SS and am very happy with it.
