Any on with Gibson Dual Exh. on 97?

Any on with Gibson Dual Exh. on 97?

I have a 97 F150 with ORP (17" wheels) and am wonering if anyone else has put a Gibson Dual Exhaust on a truck like mine? Did you have to remove the spare?? If so, I don't won't this setup.

Anyone with Gibson Duals...I know there must be someone out there with this setup. If so, please see my previous thread and help me out!!!!

Would like to help, just don't have the Dual Gibson setup. I've got their Swept Side setup, so no comparison. If I had to speculate, I'd say that you should be able to keep the spare in place. I think the duals would go on the "outside" of the trailer hitch (if installed).

I think they have a toll free number too. Just give 'em a call to be sure.

I have the gibson dual exhaust, but my truck has 16" wheels. I didn't have to move anything, there is about 1"-2" of clearence between the pipe and the tire where the pipe cross over to the left side. Hope this helps Philip

I thank you, thats what I wanted to hear. Sounds like I can run duals and keep my spare How do you like the Gibsons? Do you recommend them?? How do they sound?? Easy to install? What other brands, if any, would you recommend? Thanks.

I wanted a quiet system, so that's why I went with the SS. It's got just enough "rumble" to make me happy and the wife approves too.

Can't really comment on the dual Gibson setup, but it's probably a bit louder all around.

I had mine installed at a muffler shop. Didn't have the proper tools, and wanted all the joints welded anyway.
