CAT Delete On 2012 F150 Outside of U.S.

Brother in law down in Honduras has a '12 5.0L that has bad cat. I told him to delete them, but I don't know enough about the setup on that truck to deal with any O2 sensor issues. He has zero regulatory or legal issues to worry about. How can he do this?

Thanks,

Ben

Unscrew the rear O2 sensors, screw spark plug anti-foulers into the bungs, then screw the sensors into the anti-foulers. No guarantees, but that should prevent a CEL.

Do what glc says. If you do get a CEL still, you can always try the stacking trick until you get it to go off. Like glc said, still there is no guarantees here.

Define "bad cat".

Is it chemically dead or have the guts melted or broken up?
