2002 5.4 EGR help

So I’m trying to find a egr valve tube connector for my 2002 Ford F-150 5.4l 2v super crew cab 4x4 I bought short tube headers for it and the egr valve tube connector is rust welded in I spray it with on blaster and heated it up still won’t come off but I looked it up but all the one they have is for the newer trucks and vehicles and for the 4.6l but I spent money on these now I can’t use them until I get it get the tube connector Bc the brand does privide them and says you should beable to use from the exhaust mainafold

You are going to have to find a way to break it loose. I can't find a connector for a 2002 5.4 anywhere - plenty for the 4.6 though.

try heating it up and then spraying the rust penetrating spray while its still hot. should help wick the spray deeper into the threads. You're gonna have to be very very liberal with the spray. I'm talking half a can over several days if you want a shot at breaking it loose

Also this thread is from 2008. Gonna move these recent posts to its own thread......
