Hello all, Im in need of some help. I recently purchased an 08 STX. The exhaust is now leaking and when i inspected I noticed that the previous owner removed one resonator and welded a pipe in its place along with installing a new resonator on the passenger side only. Since scrolling the web I have noticed many people doing a resonator delete. So here is some of my questions.
1. Can someone please send me a schematic. I cant find a true schematic on the web for an 08.
2. Does an 08 have two resonators. One behind each cat?
3. Can i just cut the new one out and install a pipe with couplings and clamps?
4. Does this effect performance?
5. Does having one resonator installed help or hurt? I assume its not correct if my guess that there were suppose to be two originally.
6. Will the o2 sensors work correctly if i do remove the resonator?
