Exhaust question

I just bought a 16 F150 supercrew 5.0 V8
I want to make it louder, I’m guessing the way to go is a new exhaust system? I don’t know much about trucks so I’m asking what’s the best way to get a nice throaty loud exhaust without compromising on efficiency or power? I don’t want a ghetto fix or something that’s going to cost thousand dollars. Any input would be appreciated!

Start by deleting the resonator. That may give you what you want at minimal cost.

Can someone answer this question for me?!? So I bought a 3v 5.4 the ole boy that owned it previously did a dual in single out semi straight pipe meaning he cut everything behind the forward cats back. So I’m only running two cats to a y pipe where I only have a straight to a dump tip. I hate straight pipes personally, I want to change it two high flow cats with mufflers and x pipe. I understand trucks I mean I work on them in the corps but I don’t know what would be the best pipe size for optimal performance since I’m going to dual from single. Can someone help
