Exhaust question
I just bought a 16 F150 supercrew 5.0 V8 I want to make it louder, I’m guessing the way to go is a new exhaust system? I don’t know much about trucks so I’m asking what’s the best way to get a nice throaty loud exhaust without compromising on efficiency or power? I don’t want a ghetto fix or something that’s going to cost thousand dollars. Any input would be appreciated! |
Start by deleting the resonator. That may give you what you want at minimal cost.

Can someone answer this question for me?!? So I bought a 3v 5.4 the ole boy that owned it previously did a dual in single out semi straight pipe meaning he cut everything behind the forward cats back. So I’m only running two cats to a y pipe where I only have a straight to a dump tip. I hate straight pipes personally, I want to change it two high flow cats with mufflers and x pipe. I understand trucks I mean I work on them in the corps but I don’t know what would be the best pipe size for optimal performance since I’m going to dual from single. Can someone help |
