4.2L intake swap

My 99 4.2 has the old style upper intake and I have been offered a 03 intake with the carbin fiber upper can I do a straight swap

I recommend leaving it alone. It is not going to make any difference, except waste your time.

The plastic intakes have issues with the gaskets and isolator bolts. Keep what you have.
