BOSAL Catalytic Converters 97-03

My 99 F150 had the factory catalytic converters fail.

Started looking into replacement parts on rockauto. One of the cheapest brands on rockauto was Bosal.

After some digging on the web I found out Bosal actually owns MagnaFlow. With this info I decided to take a shot on the Bosal catalytic converters.

Parts I ordered -

Bosal 0794144 - $212.79 (rockauto prices)
Bosal 0794143 - $243.79

Parts I received(IN PLAIN WHITE BOXES) -

MagnaFlow #23028 - $293.02 (Summit Racing prices)
MagnaFlow #23082 - $335.28

I will get some pics tomorrow after work.

I assume they are just trying to move MF's old stock. Either way it was a nice surprise.

Have you gotten them on yet?

I'm hoping to install them next weekend. Been so busy it keeps getting pushed back.

I have new headlights and tail lights coming in for the 99 this week as well.

I think the new cats will definitely make a difference, mainly because the factory cats where clogged up lol.

I'm new hear. This is my first post.

I'm in the exact boat. My 01 4.6l has clogged cats and I'm looking for replacements. The picture for the two parts you listed on rockauto are the same image

Bosal 0794144 - $212.79 (rockauto prices)
Bosal 0794143 - $243.79

Are those still the same part numbers I need to use to purchase your setup? Does it matter if my truck is a supercrew cab?

When I had my ‘02 (5.4) and my cats failed I went to true duals with Magnaflow Maggie’s and two high flow Magnaflow cats. No codes, beautiful growl and really nice performance upgrade. Now I did have a custom performance tune which I’m sure helped but really nice. I miss that truck. Give us an update when it’s installed.
