Tips for air filter

The lifetime of my truck's air filter was really less. Now I bought one from BC Diesel and replaced it. This is the model I currently have (https://www.bcdiesel.ca/en/afe-high-...t-filter-dry-2). What are the guidelines we must follow to get good life span for this parts? Can somebody share some tips?

There really isn't much you can do. A quality air filter should last well. Pretty much, don't follow someone on a dirt road close sucking down their dust.

Get the cleaning kit recommended by the filter manufacturer and follow the directions. Also once a month do a quick clean by blowing air backwards thru the filter to dislodge most of the dirt, just keep the pressure low so you don't damage the filter.
