Cut muffler off

I cut my muffler off to make it louder. Would it be a good idea to put a pipe from my exhaust pipe to the tailpipe, or a straight pipe to the rear, or just leave it cut off under the truck

I personally would run at least 1 tailpipe to guide the gases and sound out from under the truck and out to be projected off of the surrounding enclosure.
