I'm running my truck right now with nothing behind the cats. It seems to have the same torque as before, at least the seat of the pants feel. My question is, does anyone know if running straight pipe behind the cats will lessen the torque due to insufficient backpressure, or will the 4 cats provide all that's needed?

Plus you don't "need" back pressure

Thanx for this link. Great info to know. I've found with my bikes that I've gotten flat spots in my torque when running straight pipes. Just didn't want that with my truck. This makes me feel better about going with the delete.
Straight through mufflers are pretty much straight pipe, and 2009+ truck exhausts are direct straight through now also. You aren't hurting a thing.
