need help on exhaust

Ok guys I have a 2010 F150 xlt crewcab 5.4. I have a super 40 series on the exhaust but want to go louder. I was thinking of taking out the cats cutting it and taking all the inside of the cat out, welding bak where I cut then installing cat bak to the exhaust just to give the look like if I had one. Thinking of throwing some 02 simulators to get the issue of the check engine light away and then a tune. Is this a good/correct way to go or what can yall recomend? And if someone did this in there truck can u post a video of it. Thanks

Hey.

Don't bother - they are already hi-flows - sound increase won't be worth the effort. Remain Federally legal.

Get another muffler - one that flows better - and sounds better - than a 10. Borla anyone?

x2, the cat change out on 2009+ are not worth it unless you go with a catted longtube header kit. The header kit however will increase exhaust volume, and power band performance ( when custom tuned for ), but the real key is to change out to a small round body short length quality muffler like mine.
