SO or DO Question

I'm looking to get a new muffler, Superflow Super 10. I'm curious what the advantage is from getting a SI/SO versus a SI/DO. I know doing the catback will have the "cool" dual exhaust look, but what other advantage is there to getting the DO? Thanks.

Is superflow a Flowmaster knock-off? There's no practical advantage to having dual tips. Any exhaust "upgrades" after the cats does next to nothing for power, only sound. Plus chambered mufflers (like Flowmaster) don't flow any better than stock, and are sometimes even worse.

Get whatever you like to fit your budget and taste in the look department. Most economical thing to do us cut the old out and slap the new in. All the sound for about $150 bucks!

Ahhh! Can't believe I typed Superflow instead of Flowmaster. That's what I get for typing early in the AM.

That's kinda what I was thinking, so glad you confirmed my thoughts Thanks!

Eh, it's alright! I knew what the Super 10 part meant! But yeah, I think you'll be happy just slapping the new muffler in and leaving the rest of it alone

I have the single out super 10 and I kinda wish I had gone dual out. I think you'll get more sound out of the dual out and you can have it going out both sides. That's the advantage but you'll obviously have to pay more to run new tailpipes as compared to using stock like I did.

Dual out gives a little better sound in my opinion.

Dual outlet looks better than a single pipe in my opinion, and the sound projection is better and more audible, especially when 45'd.
