Did my own custom exhaust

Just got the itch to do some custom fab work on my truck and what better than starting with an easy exhaust system haha. Unbolted the almost factory system, cut off right after the first cats and at first I just welded on 18 inches of pipe I got from autozone to see how it sounded and just left the rear O2's unplugged for a little. Loved the sound but the drone was terrible in the cab when my girlfriend tried to talk to me on the highway
Anyways, got about 5 ft of tubing, O2 bungs and all the stuff for the Gotts O2 mod (Which actually works no jokes, over 300 miles and no more check engine light) and I made my own dual turn down dumps. Sounds gnarly, I'll post a video soon.

Also decided to clean my throttle body, IAC and intake plenum if that's the correct term. Runs better but I think it's time to change my plugs.

And the reason I made turn downs was to not have the exhaust directly hitting my tank. I've driven it about 80 miles in one trip and felt the tank and it wasn't even warmer than the good 'ol AZ heat.

Hell ya. I'm toyin around with the idea of getting a real DD that doesn't get 14 mpg so that I can save some money and start really tearing into this thing without having to worry about driving it to work the next day. It's been hell lately with it honestly. Think my pinion shaft is cracked so I gotta check that out this weekend.

Thanks man! None would do this one either with the stock tank in, it's about ready to get taken out though and replaced with a fuel cell in my cage!

Looking good!

Love to custom make stuff ... there is no greater feeling than to say you did it yourself!

I'd love to get 14 haha. But yeah, mods have to be carefully timed when they're your daily driver for sure. It sucked my I did my long tubes and it was out of commission for like 5 days

I can, occasionally, with LOTS of highway driving, see 13. And you're lifted, 35s, and 4wd! I'm still on the ground with my 2wd haha.

I drive very aggressively though, so it is what it is . . .

That's my tip top mileage haha, typically it's 10-12 with 14 mostly highway. And I don't know what I'm gonna do when I have to redo my motor cage soon. I don't have enough room for the coilovers I want at the moment and my current ones are blown to **** haha.
