Ya, it's how you mount up big ol offroad coilover shocks, also has fabtech "long travel" control arms with reworked lowers to mount the coilovers. Pulls about 14 inches of travel but it's honestly a terrible kit. It's meant for barely any abuse and the ball joints create a terrible weak point... I had one snap on me out in the desert and it put my wheel through my fender. Real great stuff.

Oh shoot! I didn't know you had all of that going on! I just thought you had the prerunner look going on with some 'glass haha. But now I see the completely done up bed cage and everything. Are those wheels beadlocks too? I guess I never looked that closely at your pics, I should've!

Ya it is kinda deceiving! I've wanted to post pics of the setup but it's not very pretty yet. Previous owners didn't treat this truck like I would have. She deserves somebody that's gonna really take care of her!!! And the wheels are just "streetlocks" You know the rims that have all the studs lining the beads? What ya do is buy a machined ring for them and tap the holes after removing the studs. Gives it a cool look and I guess maybe a little more bead-holding power when offroading possibly!

Gotcha lol. I'm sure they provide a little bit extra over a regular wheel! But the cage is cool to see, even if it isn't pretty! As long as it's there and functional, it's good in my book
