Straight Pipe or Super 10

I have a 05 5.4 with Pacesetter LT headers, Magnaflow high-flo cats, and true duals, no muffler dumped in front of the passenger tire with 3" tips.

I had a few options in mind. Either 8" glasspacks, dynomax bullets, or a dido super 10. With any of these, ill upgrade to 4" tips.

What im wanting is not to lose any of the loudness of my current setup, i just want to change the sound. I like the pop of my setup and that of a glasspack, but iv heard that dynomax bullets sound great on this truck, and that super 10s are pretty good too.

Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Correct me if im wrong, but arent bullets the same as glasspacks, just without the internal ridges? So how will the bullets sound? Not as much popping right?

What do you want out a sound change, a deeper tone? Bullets sound like straights, 4 decibles more quiet to be exact, but they give off a deep rumble, not a crackle and popping like straights. For the popping, I would suggest a cheap junk short glass pack. But for a deeper tone and your current volume, I would suggest the Bullets, or the SLP Loudmouth resonator. These will last long and sound deeper.

Last I checked the Super 10 was not availabile in DI/DO. The Super 40 is but you would lose a bit of volume.

The Cherry Bomb Extreme is offered in a DIDO. How close to a Super 10 would that be?

Cherry bomb Extreme is pretty much an open can and will rot and away after 5yrs. The Flow master will have a much deeper sound and a more toned sound rather than just consistent thrash.

Super 10 has my vote. Don't go with cherry bomb. The design on the inside doesn't make sense and the case isn't SS like Flowmaster.
