I recently bought an 06 f150 5.4 3v and really like the way a catback y pipe with no mufflers sounds. I think I can do this one the cheap but cannot seem to find a place that sells only the pre bent pipe sections that run muffler back. You can only get the whole systems.

i called local shop and he wanted $325 for y pipe and pipes run with tips (he uses pre bent pipe as well). That just seemed a lot of money for not a lot of parts or work and i can do it cheaper.

If the tips are stainless that's a pretty fair/avg deal.
