GOTTS or CAI??

I have the spectre cold air intake on my 98 4.6.. I bought it before I found out about the Gotts mod and am now second guessing my cold air intake.. has anyone ever done a comparison test between a cold air intake and the gotts mod? if so which one gave more power and better fuel mileage?

dude, an intake doesn't improve / reduce mpg's, that's the driver mod

and yes there's been multiple datalogs / dyno's, real world ducmentation posted up to show that the Gotts intake mod is that much better than any hot air intake you can purchase

your SOP-dyno (seat of pants) might not be able to tell the difference, which will prove the waste of cash spent on that hot air intake

I've had both the FIPK kit, and GOTTS intakes (currently) and personally noticed no difference. Gears and E-fans made the biggest difference along with a programmer for shifting tweaks. Note that MPGs did not change at all as I just pulled 15mpg last tank.
