Exclamation Need some help getting started.

I'm new to the site, and to my f150 also. I just bought an '09 stx w/4.6l 2v and I've been looking around for cai's for my truck but it's more difficult to find them for the 2v, more seem to be catered to the 3v motors. Does anyone know of any that they recommend? Looking for preferably lower price range, but something that will actually be worth the money I pay. Also, a good tuner that works well for the 2v's. I've owned and built my Chevy blazer for years, but it finally drove its last drive and had to replace it with my stx. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Search Gotts Mod--it's a cheap but effective CAI mod for that engine. I've got an 08 STX with the same engine and it pep'd my engine up.

Thank you for your service, as well. My Dad was Semper Fi back in the 60s.

i think all cais are the same other than the right one to fit the style of your truck. i got a 30$ one off ebay and it is just as good as my kn intake. cus its not the iac or maf you are changing just the intake its self. and super chips is one of the best tuners because they test them on each model and year vehicles...and i dont think anyone els dose that.
and thanks for your service its people like you that keep us feeling safe at home and every one of you men/ladies are in my prayers.........
