Long tube mod questions 4.2L

It seems the final part of the trucks original exhaust system is on its last legs. Headers are just about done and the piping between the headers and cats on both sides are just as bad.

Soooo I was thinking of going with a LT setup. No one make LTs for the 4.2 but I do know I can use a set of MAC LTs for a 94-97 3.8L mustang since its the same block as the 4.2L.

I do know that I'll have to 'persuade' the pipes on the pass. side header with a hammer to get proper clearance for the starter, I'm ok with that. My only real concern is the EGR tube. The stock one I'm pretty sure is too short.

Enough background...on to the questions.

1) If I just do an EGR delete will the truck fail an e-test?
2) Would the EGR tube from the 94-97 mustang be long enough to fit?
3) Could I just have an EGR tube fabbed up?
