My freind is returning his truck to stock condition and has offered me his true duals system. One hitch, although both are '97, he has a regular cab, long bed w/ a 4.2 and I've got an extended cab, stepside shortbed w/ a 4.6.

I'm thinking/hoping that the wheel bases are still pretty similar so the length/distances for the mufflers and rear exit pipes should be the same if not darn close, am I right? I would love to use them on my own truck with a nice X pipe. Mmmmmm.....X pipe. Please tell me what you all think.

I'm hopeful that they'll fit up cuz I'm really pumped up over the possibility of committing my first mod.....expipus dualis Superchip, electric fans, and color cordinated brake calipers can't be far behind! Heheehee
