Guess now I have to.
Looking at Borla this time round? An S-type or XR-1 would be mighty nasty aggressive I would imagine!

I have always been a fan of MAC exhaust on an type of Modular Ford motor. I had MAC on my 06 F150 with the 5.4, and also on my 2000 Lightning. In my opinion its a great sounding exhaust that not too free flowing and doesnt crackle/pop like some. Has some deep sound, and some good tone. Having said that, I am very impressed with the sound of Corsa on these trucks...I just ran into some videos of some 5.4's with Corsa recently and they sound great, and the quality is top notch. I have an old video of my truck with MAC on it and I may be able to upload it today if the quality isnt too horrible.

I would def like to see that video cobraman302! I know most everything y'all have said sounds good... I've watched many videos. And I agree, why half do it and then have to come back later and work on it more. Only problem, I'm working a low salary job fixing to go back to school so I'm really wanting to see the best sound setup for me without dumping tons of $$ in it... I know y'all are thinking "cheap skate"... but it's more like "broke butt"

So I was more thinking the least I could do for a good sound... ya know like just changing the muffler and dualing it out the back from there. I know I won't get the sound like what Darren is talking about (which I know sounds pirdy awsome!!) but something good sounding without breaking the bank...

Thanks guys!!

They sure do!
Above video was also with LT's (Pacesetter) which as far as I can tell gave the Borla a very nice extra growl.

I have this exact set up minus the 4x18" tips and it's kinda similar. But yeah this is the best sounding F150 i've ever heard. It's perfect in every way.

OEM exhaust on the 2004+ trucks actually flows just fine like an aftermarket cat-back. Its only worth sound upgrade these days so don't expect it to perform better. The only setup not involving longtube headers and cats that increases performance would be X piped 2.5" true duals and the improvement would be seen at high rpm ( truck will be a hint faster), or x piped 2.25" mandrel bent unrestricted true duals. Your low end torque will be stronger but unnoticeable change aside of sound when up to speed.

I copied his hoping for the same results. He runs high flow cats. a 3" midpipe from the Y, a 3x14" Magnapack, Y split with 2.5" tails and 4x18" tips.
