Question Magnaflow Advice

I'm trying to decide between the 9"(94106) and 12"(94306) hi flow cats to go back on my truck as I am running no cats and its obnoxious and I have a baby on the way and have to get up drive to work at 0630...not to mention the fumes. Now after the cats are back on I want to get rid of my flowmaster and go with a magnaflow. Should I go with the x-pipe magna pack, x-pipe di/do, y-pipe si/do? I'm running si/do flowmaster with the 45 tails. Opinions and advice needed. I don't want to lose low end torque and I want my truck to be loud but not catless loud. P.S. I am looking to install a set of black pacesetter LT headers. Please help all of the different selections in exhaust are confusing me lol.

94106 would be perfect for you IMO! That's what most of the guys who have Hi-Flows on here run. I would just keep your Si/Do setup. You don't need True Duals unless you're wanting to make a sh*t load of power on your truck. I just went [After 2 years] from Di/Do to Si/So with my new Borla setup and I love everything about it and so happy I did it. Sounds a whole lot better and toned than the dual setup. I can for sure feel my low end when I romp on it from a dig and everything about it is just meaner. With my True Duals, my truck was quieter and sounded to much like a Mustang. I hated it! If you wanna aggressive, yet still tolerable tone, of course go with the Magnapacks that everybody has. They're Magnaflows aggressive Bullet Muffler. If you want a little rumble, but more smooth and quiet, go with the Oval Body Magnaflows. Remember, the longer the muffler, the quieter it will be. The shorter, the louder. Listen to 08FX4's setup. I think that is one the best sounding 5.4 F150s I've heard. Not crazy loud, yet and still, real toned, beefy and clear.

It's really hard to match an exact model to someone. Everyone has a different opinion on what is too loud.

From what you are describing, you sound like you want the 9" cats with a oval body 12" case Borla XR-1. forget the Magnaflow. The high quality tone of the Borla is worth the price in the end.
