Lightbulb which header for 06 5.4?

Hi,

I have an air leak somewhere, I was told it can be coming from the manifold, so I was thinking of changing the headers as well, I just don't know which part to buy and also will it be compatible with my existing setup:

I have an 06 5.4
right now I have:
K&N CAI
Magnaflow 16520
MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles
gryphon custom tune 87 + 93

can you guys help please? would like to know what to order and what's the best place to find it, so far I found this: http://www.racingpartdepot.com/servl...06-Ford/Detail

I've seen people talking about getting stainless steal instead as they are more durable, is steel ok?

are the headers including manifold? that's where I'm getting a leak from

do you know how much HP would I get more with these? is it really noticeable?

thanks for your reply

Stainless is the way to go especially if you live up in salt country...

Gains of up to 30 HP may happen with long tubes....

I guess I was only looking @ pacesetters because that is all I can ever find for my 4.6L. Forgot about OBX as they don't appear to have anything for he 4.6.

If one is to upgrade the headers would it be worth it to do anything other than long tubes?

More like $570 for the stainless OBXs and $900 for Dynatech headers only. The catted Dynatech Y pipe will run it up to about $1,499.

Well the OP states he has a 5.4... My reason for recommending those. Stainless or stock manifolds in my personal opinion. Headers are too difficult a job to put a crap aluminized product in place to get eaten by weathering and salt.

Hardly at all. To replace a gasket, may as well put the OE manifold back on. Replacing both manifolds with stainless shorties will cost about $300. Multiply that by two and a little more change and you could have got more power, and a lot more sound.

can you tell me which part should I get then?
http://www.racingpartdepot.com/servlet/Categories

I typed f-150 header, there are 13 options

also will it fix my intake manifold air leak by changing it? I already have a "new" cat with the magnaflow, I don't think I need another one do I?

This is the 4wd OBX kit, you can use the headers only, and have your cats installed on the Y pipe.

The only cheaper way is to go with the crappy quality Pacesetters for $270 with 3" collectors. Then you still need to get studs and gaskets. So in the end the OBX kit is a really good kit for what comes with an for the money.
