Pacesetter looking for F150 for product development

My buddy over at pacesetter called me today to see if they could use my f150 for product development for headers or an exhaust system but my wife totaled it 3 weeks ago so I cant.

He said they are looking for Phoenix area f150 owners, 2004 through 2012 who are interested letting PaceSetter use the vehicle for a couple of days for product development to fit new products or something like that.

He said we could work out a rental fee or header swap or something like that.

If interested call Tim at 602-266-1964 x214

Damn shame I'm not anywhere near Arizona. I'd volunteer my truck for a rental car and a free set of headers!

I wouldn't unless stainless was the material.

If they can't afford their own truck for development by now, they wouldn't get mine. Seems a little fishy IMO. Now if they wanted me to Demo a set, that would be different and make more sense.

This is common all over the automotive industry. That's how Maremont (Gabriel) develops shocks.

I saw their post on Craigslist. I responded to it, but havent received a response back. Maybe I'll give them a call. I drive a company vehicle so I'd let them use mine for a week or so.

Hopefully they test useable products unlike the '97-'03 F150 owners got

Guinea pigs come in handy I guess. For those after market developers that can't afford to do things correctly.

A product is developed, then it's demoed thru whomever. Usually by the more publicly known at first. I think a few are mixed up about that.

However, it's your ride, your choice.

I don't know about Pacesetter, -do they really know that little?
