Need advise!!!

I now have a 2010 Lariat Crew 4x4. Looking for a aftermarket exhaust but not as loud as the one on my '06. Looking for something that has a high flow and a SI/SO. Looking for something in the Mild or Moderant range.

you could do a single longer dynomax bullet, keep factory over the axle

Are you planning on keeping the factory cat coverters? If so just go with a nice Magnaflow. Can't ever go wrong there.

I looked at the DynoMax last night. Might go that route.

What did your '06 4.6l have for an exhaust?

I personally based off my sound tolerance levels would suggest any catback exhaust aside of Roush off road series since they will not put their loudest mufflers with the kits. Borla Pro-XS is a quality rich sounding muffler and not too disturbing in cab. Muffler only varies $90 - $130, Borla t-304 catback avgs $830.

No need in changine out the '09+ cats. Not because of their young age or warranty purposes, but they are the size of #94306 Magnaflow cats, and are just as free flowing, and hardly sound resonated.

I want to keep everything. Just replace the muffler. I found the MagnaFlow round 27" muffler for $100. That shouldn't be too load should it?

go with it. Nice quiet rumble at idle, and gets louder when you get on it.

you look through my dynomax videos (link in sig)? of course mine's dumped so its louder than if you kept yours over the axle, but should have about the same tone.

No that should work just fine. Look around on youtube to see if someone else has that same muffler. Just know that the longer and more round the muffler, the quieter it will be.

I had dB Performance by Corsa SI/SO sst on my '10, loved it. Great tone when you get on it and no drone what so ever at cruising speeds.

This was the long case Maggie that I had on my '04. Quiet idle but deep sound when you mashed down on the 5.4. No inside drone either at highway speed's.

Man I completely misunderstood what you were asking about! sorry! I'd go with what PawPaw suggested. That muffler will sound good but won't be crazy loud.
