New Exhaust (sort of)
Went and spent 63 dollars and had the old magnaflow oval muffler taken out of my 3 inch cat back SI/SO exhaust. and had the exhaust shop weld in a resonator from magnaflow,
I was afraid it would do nothing but crackle and pop and sound like all the 1990-1998 Chevrolet pick ups, or a 5.4 with glasspacks.
No such issues.
On start up and idle its a nice LOW rumble. driving around town no issues nice rumble. at highway cruise I drove for 2 hours no drone.
At WOT.....
Insane, it sounds like nothing else loud and nasty no crackle and popping just v8 music.
I am extremely happy and recommend it to anyone.
truck has stock manifolds and cats as well.
