Muffler question

Muffler question

I have a 98 f150 with a 5.4 in it and need to replace the muffler,I have stock exhaust on it, want to go with a magnaflow just not sure what size,want it a bit louder than stock and then run a pipe just before rear tire any ideas on what size Thanks.

Go to youtube and listen to videos. Not perfect but itll give you an idea of what size muffler

id go with like a 40 series flowmaster , i used to have magnaflow exhaust on my f150 and hated it

Well, they say there's no accounting for taste! I just replaced a Fartmaster 40 series with an oval Magnaflow and the sound quality between the two cannot be compared!!

Yeah i will check it out ,maybe i can find something close to what i want.

The only likes that Flowmaster better probably because he bought the wrong magnaflow and it was too quiet.
