What muffler

Im looking to replace my fartmaster with a new magnaflow muffler. what is my best bet to get an agressive sound but not be too unbearably loud. Take in to account this will be with hi flow rear cats new y pipe and 45'd tips out the back and will be a 5.4 v8. I just want to know from every one experience.

I have the Magnapack 4x14" and I love it. It's still new, maybe 500 miles on it but I love it. Sounds great all the time. I have the 3" SISO one with a Maggie Y that splits into my tails and tips. I have 3x18" tips SOTB. Wish I had 45'd it but whatever. Can't go wrong with Magnapack buddy!

DO NOT GUT. Replace all 4 stock cats with a pair of maggie cats!

A gutted cat will not benefit you in any way. It will not be any louder, flow any better, and by no means will it sound any better.

We have had a lot of guys doing that lately, very nice

You will want the Magnaflow #10778 Y pipe.

That's the same set up as me now except I am waiting to get hi flows before I replace factory Y pipe so they can just do it all at once.

Here is the Magnapack you need for that set up http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-14419/

Don't forget another Magnaflow Y after the muffler to split it into your tails and tips unless you are just running a single pipe out the side or something. Hope I helped ya some.

I found everything I need except the piping on amazon. I found magnaflow 94106 highflows for 50 bucks apiece and that magnapack for like 70 bucks, as well as the y pipes for 28 apiece. And all with free shipping! I think the whole order will come out just under 280.
