intake manifold leaking question 2001 f150

what do you think on this.. on thursday check my oil it was fine no antifreeze in it,did not drive it rest of night, went to work on friday 4 miles, then 3 miles to pick wife up.she smell antifreeze,so look under hood and couldnt really tell exactly where leak was at but it looked like it was from the intake manifold where the plastic meets the metal where the heater core hose plugs into the manifold at on pass side.so stop at local shop and they said by where its wet it was crack intake manifold( he said he has fixed 3 f150 with this problem)..so after searching on here this sounds about right.so was gonna order the dorman 615-188 intake manifold kit..the truck ran great and i dont mind changing the intake manifold but seems with it leaking it got some antifreeze in the oil (not bad).do you think it might cause any other problem to check for when i get the intake off.i had the plugs changes less than 6000 miles ago.is there any other gaskets to change besides just putting the new intake manifold kit on while i have it off.
thanks
steve
