Ecoboost heartthrob exhaust

Ok, Iv seen a few posts on this but not much detail. Ok so besides the warranty talk and bla bla bla about why it's bad and how the dyno can't be right talk. WHO HAS THIS EXHAUST? What do you think? How much was it? Where did you get it? Easy to install? Impressed? Not impressed? Sound good? Is it loud? A lot of drone? Would you tell your buddies to buy it??????

Yeah I wanna hear from real owners too. I'd like to know how many codes or problems have really been encountered.

I put it on 500 miles ago.

East install

paid 380 from autoanything

sounds kinda like a rice burner but I still like it better than the stock exhaust.

I would buy it again.

waiting to install my bullydog and intake to really see how it will perform.

A little less turbo lag.

Going to order a 5inx18in black tip for it since my truck is blacked out.

I did not see a change in gas mileage just because I put 305/50/20 tires on it at the same time and saw a slight decrease in mileage but my spedo has not been recalibrated yet.

Yeah, that'd be PLENTY enough reason for me to not do it.

You know what they say about ricers:

I just installed it on my 2012 today and don't have any problem with it, i agree with there being a little less turbo lag, but i don't think it sounds like a ricer, the tone is too deep for that. To me it doesn't sound much different under load than when I used to have a 4.0 Ranger with exhaust. I like it. I can deal with the V6 sound because well, it's a V6. I've read on other sites where some owners are disappointed because they thought it would sound different, like they had the impression that it would make them feel like it had a V8 sound. I'm happy with it and would definitely recommend, just driving around town today, i noticed that my MPG went about 1 MPG, my manager put it on his truck earlier this week and said that he noticed the same thing about his MPG. Just food for thought.

Heartthrob does flow better than the oem, because they basically remove one of the 2 mufflers.....in terms of sound quality, IMHO, i have never been a big fan of HT, to me, if you removed 1 of the OEM mufflers (resonators) you would achiev the exact same sound and flow....
