Dynomax bullets v. Mangaflow magnapacks

I was wondering out of these two which one has the deepest throaty growl to it. Also what would be the best setup to go with it (x-piped or not, exit spots ext.).

Thanks
Robert

You're right. A lot of the guys know something about them, and it's been discussed quite a bit over the years. The search feature on this site works well to find this info, and the search feature on sites like YouTube and Google work well to find other opinions...even videos!

I don't know about the dynomax bullets but the magnaflow seem to be what most go with.

Here's a link to my 3 inch si/so dynomax bullet. All stock cats, just bumped the piping to three inch.

They both sound great, but I give the edge to magnapacks for there slightly more refined tone. The bullets will be slightly louder.

I'm looking for more of a louder sound so I believe I'm gonna go with the bullets thanks for your input.

just an fyi, make sure you get the stainless bullet. the aluminized ones won't last as long if you live up north

Magnapacks are nice, but they tend to lose tone in the higher rpm ranges. Not sure about the Bullets.

Hmm...haven't noticed this at all! Fartmasters will, but I haven't experienced that with the Magnapacks yet.

OP, main difference as far as I can tell is the Bullets might be a touch louder and considerably more raspy than the Magnapacks.

I read soemwhere it's inherent to all magnapacks (maybe even magnaflow in general?).

I didn't think I experienced it either until I heard the sound difference with the XR-1. lol
