Turn downs and exhaust sound

I just bought the RideRite #2350 rear airbag kit and it looks like my dual out exhaust pipes will be too close to both bags after install. Short of running new pipe, i'm considering cutting the pipe just after the muffler and running dual turn downs. Will I lose any exhaust loudness if I don't run my Magnaflow tips? My exhaust note is much louder than stock but not nearly as loud as a lot of trucks running around the Bay so I am curious if I will lose any of that growl at all.

Thanks!

You will lose the sound projection effect that the tip has, and now most of your sound will be bouncing under your truck rather than projected in the direction the tips use to be pointing. So you will lose a little sound volume.

It will be louder, and you will loose that tone all together. If you have to dump it, find a way to tuck some shorter tips under there to help maintain that tone.

Louder all around the truck than before. But if he had rear exit tips and now has dumps, it will be "quieter" behind the truck as compared to before since the tips aren't projecting all of the sound in one direction.

Right?
