Need help; K&N air intake
I just installed a K&N air intake today (model 57-2556) on an 08 f150. In the process I broke the inside tab of the Throttle Body Motor Electrical Connector. Now the connector that is attached to the wires slips on and off the throttle body without catching. What do I need to do to replace this? Am I limited to going to a junk yard, cutting one off a vehicle, and splicing it onto my truck? Or are there other options?
On another note, the air intake is connected and everything has been put together solidly. I checked it over and all connections are tight. I notice when I apply the gas pedal, typically slight pressure rather than a hard acceleration, I hear a high pitched squeal coming from the driver side engine bay. I believe this is from the K&N filter area, and that it sounds like air escaping from a vacuum. Has anyone else experienced this sound and how was it fixed?
Thanks

if you broke the tab off the connector that creates a positive hold it might be ok as long as its still tight, if not youll need a new pigtail you can get fron a junkyard or the dealer. and that noise is your engine sucking air through the new intake. double check your install but aftermarket intakes make more noise than stock
